We’re so excited to celebrate this special season of our lives in a way that feels true to us. We’ll be traveling to Maine with our closest family and friends, where we plan to officially get married surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. After the ceremony, we’ll spend the weekend together, enjoying local food spots, drinks, and exploring the beautiful Bar Harbor together! Because we know not everyone will be able to make the trip to Maine, we’ll also be hosting a formal reception back home about a month later so we can celebrate with our extended family and friends as well. While it will feel more like a traditional wedding celebration, we’ll already have been happily married for a month, giving us the chance to simply relax, celebrate, and enjoy being surrounded by everyone we love.
This place is incredibly special to us, and we’re so excited to share one of our favorite spots with the people we love most, especially in the fall, when Maine is at its most beautiful! It’s where we truly fell in love with the state of Maine, running together to catch sunsets on Cadillac Mountain, soaking in the beauty of Acadia National Park, and finding a sense of comfort and peace that always felt like a home away from home. We also fell in love with the charm and culture of the coastal town, from the quiet ocean views to the cozy streets and slower pace that made every trip unforgettable. Being able to celebrate such an important moment here, in a place that holds so many memories for us, means everything.
We will be in Maine from September 29th through October 4th, 2027. You’re more than welcome to stay for the entire trip, but please feel free to come and go based on whatever works best for your schedule and travel plans! We know traveling for a destination wedding is a big commitment, and we truly appreciate everyone making the trip to celebrate with us. Our hope is that this week feels less like a formal event and more like a chance to slow down, spend quality time together, explore the beauty of the coast, and create unforgettable memories with the people we love most!
We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 29th, 2026 so we can thoughtfully plan for everyone joining us in Maine. We understand this is a long-term commitment and truly appreciate you planning ahead to celebrate with us. Having an early RSVP allows us the time to coordinate accommodations, activities, and all the little details that will help make this experience meaningful and memorable for everyone involved.
We have an entire tab dedicated to flight options. Most importantly, we never want anyone to feel pressured when it comes to attending our elopement celebration. If this trip isn’t feasible for your budget, schedule, or current season of life, please know that we completely understand. We’ll also be celebrating back in Maryville, and we can’t wait to celebrate and party with everyone there as well! We did our best to include a variety of airline options.
We would absolutely love for everyone to stay together under one roof! Before we start booking, we need a quick headcount to see who is interested in sharing a big house versus who would prefer to stay independently (like in a hotel or their own Airbnb). We want everyone to be comfortable, so if a big group house isn't your idea of fun, just let us know! Keep in mind that if we do the big house, we'll need an upfront contribution for the down payment once a place is chosen. No rush to decide immediately, but let us know what you're leaning toward. If you have any questions, just ask!
We would absolutely love for you to bring your partners to Maine if they’re able to join! Having the people you love there alongside us would make the experience even more special, and we’re excited for this week to feel like a meaningful time together with our closest family and friends. We do want to note that guests will be responsible for any additional housing and travel expenses for their partners. If that creates any concerns or challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
