At Sara's Table Chester Creek Cafe
If you need breakfast or lunch with some dietary restrictions, Logan and Emma frequent Sara's table for their farm to table, local food and great fair trade coffee. Their menu has options for almost any diet.
Pizza Lucé Duluth
One of Logan's favorite spots in Duluth with giant pizzas, sandwiches, and spinach artichoke dip to die for (with a full bar)
Old Chicago
Logan and I went here on our first official date where we went "out." Dating during COVID-19 has been difficult but Old Chicago has a big open dinning space and bar to feel safe and separated in. I recommend their Deep fried pickles and Logan always gets the Bacon burger. Try out their tap list during happy hour and late night hours.
Blacklist Brewing Co.
With a long list of craft brews, ciders, and seltzers everyone will find a blacklist brew they will love here and then head to the back to throw axes! Blacklist is a unique bar in Duluth where you can drink their craft brews and throw axes (I recommend to make a reservation because the axe throwing is quite popular). Remember to wear your lumberjack flannel like Logan always wears!
Great Lakes Aquarium
Getting into Lake Superior might be quite cold but you can still enjoy the wildlife of the lake at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Downtown Duluth near many of the city's hotels! You can pet sturgeon and see the otters get fed, too!
Glensheen Mansion
If you're into history and architecture we recommend going to the Glensheen Mansion for a tour! The fall colors and landscaping here this time of year are unbelievable. They offer college student and senior discounts as well!
The Lakewalk
If you're shopping in Canal or just want a better view of Lake Superior, take the Lake walk! The sunrises over the lake and sets over the hill so morning or evening this is a good choice to see the lift bridge and the largest freshwater lake in North America (just wear a jacket when you're that close to the water).
Canal Park
Canal Park is a great place to spend a few hours shopping for souvenirs, grabbing a bite to eat, or drinking a craft beer from one of the many breweries located in canal. Pro-tip: Park in a parking lot on canal and walk or take an electric scooter to the lift bridge and see the barges come through or the lighthouses up close.
