We're getting married!

Emma and Liam met in college at the University of Lynchburg. Emma was a soccer player and Liam was a lacrosse player. They both had a class together yet never really talked until Halloween night. Emma was not drinking due to being in season for soccer so she wasn't planning on going out, let alone dress up. She had a soccer recruit that wanted to go out and see the night life at Lynchburg so she threw together a costume quickly and headed out. While Emma is out she starts talking to Liam at the lacrosse house. Liam (the young freshman) had himself a few drinks, while Emma was sober. Let's just say it is a good thing Emma was sober because Liam doesn't remember much from their conversation. After a couple days, Emma reached out to Liam asking if he wanted to hang out sometime soon. We instantly clicked and started dating December of 2018. After Emma graduated undergrad, she stayed in Lynchburg to complete her masters in 2023 and to be with Liam while he finished his undergrad degree in 2022. Liam went to UVA to complete his masters because he didn't want to be far from Emma while she finished hers. After they both completed their masters, they moved to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Liam surprised Emma July 3rd, 2025 by getting down on one knee at one of their favorite beach spots. He made sure his and her family were there to enjoy celebrating with them! We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
