Question

Should I plan for any events on Thursday night?

Answer

For those arriving Thursday evening, we will be gathering at The Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, NY. We hope you stop by and have a drink before the big day!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved hotel blocks at three nearby hotels, all within walking distance of each other and just a 15-minute drive to The Garrison. Booking details and links will be provided on our website under "Travel" shortly.

What time should I arrive to The Garrison?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The ceremony start promptly at 4:30pm. Any guests arriving after 4:30pm will not be allowed at the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend the ceremony. If you're bringing your kids please reach out to Emma or Kweku so we can make sure there's adequate seating for everyone. However, we kindly ask that you arrange for the children to be picked up prior to cocktail hour and reception, as these portions of the event will be adult-only. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation included an "and guest", please bring a date! If not, we ask that you come by yourself and enjoy the evening with us.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress in what makes you feel comfortable! Formal attire is requested, please no jeans!

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the reception to the after party only. The after party is at The Springhill Suites Hotel, all of the hotels listed are within walking distance from the after party. We kindly ask that you coordinate your own ride to the ceremony. You are able to leave your car overnight at the venue if needed.
