Wedding Party

We met during sophomore year of college at Liberty University. We fostered a close friendship all through college and spent many hours hanging with our close friends, swimming at the lake and hiking the nearby mountains.
After graduation in 2019, Emma moved south to Roanoke for her first job and Kordell stayed in Lynchburg for his master's degree. We still stayed close, hiked a lot, met up for some dinners and watched each other grow as we figured out post-college life.
In January 2021, Emma spread her wings and moved to Alaska. In that time apart, through many late-night phone calls, our friendship grew even closer. When Emma moved back to VA in the fall of that year, we took the leap of faith we had been postponing for many years and started dating. After that, everything sort of fell together perfectly and we are now very happily married.
God’s timing is truly perfect, and we feel very blessed to be able to grow old with our best friend!
