Furnace Town Historic Site (Nassawango Iron Furnace)
A small living history museum featuring the Nassawango Iron Furnace. This site gives visitors a peak into what life was like on the Eastern Shore in the 19th-century. There are also hiking trails located on the property. Emma worked here at their summer camp in 2018!
Assateague Island National Seashore
Assateague Island National Park is famous for the wild ponies that inhabit the island. It is also a great place to spot a wide range of wildlife, enjoy the beach, and take walks.
Historic Downtown Berlin
Dubbed "America's Coolest Small Town" Berlin features an adorable downtown with restaurants, shops (including a great bookstore - The Greyhound), and one of our favorite ice cream shops (The Island Creamery). This is a great place to explore for a while!
