Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the property. Schedule below: Coastal Limo will be picking people up from both Downtown Charleston and from the Homewood Suites in North Charleston. If utilizing transportation from Homeowood Suites, the pickup will be at 3:30 pm. The Downtown shuttle will have a pickup at 3:20 pm from the Charleston Place Hotel, then a stop to pick up people at the Moxy Hotel, and continue on to the venue. Transportation will be available from the venue to Homewood Suites and Downtown at 11:00 pm after the festivities! (We strongly encourage the use of transportation as the venue is in a remote area with poorly lit roads and a favored spot by local police to camp out!) If you would like to schedule your own transportation to the property, here are some local car services: Charleston Cab Co., Lowcountry Valet, and Atlantic Limo Charleston.
No, the ceremony will be cell-phone-free, but do not worry; the bride and groom have hired a professional photographer to capture the moment. After the ceremony, you may snap as many pics as you like and upload them to the shared virtual album!
Our wedding will take place outdoors under a tented reception space. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
We respectfully request that all men wear a tuxedo or a dark colored suit. Additionally, women are encouraged to wear semi-formal to formal bright colored dresses with shoes appropriate for walking on grass.
Expect mild spring weather with highs in the 70s and cooler evenings. While it’s usually sunny and pleasant, we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening and checking the forecast closer to the date.
