What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We invite our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Long dresses, cocktail dresses, and elegant separates are preferred, along with suits or sport coat with dress pants for gentlemen. We kindly ask that guests avoid the color white, cream or ivory please.

Can I bring a "plus one"?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your wedding invitation. If a partner is included, their name will appear on the invitation and when you RSVP through our website. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We have decided our wedding and reception will be an adults only celebration. Please leave the kids at home and enjoy a parents night out on us!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please turn off your cellphones and cameras during the ceremony. We have hired photographers and will have plenty of photos to share with you after the wedding!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with planning, please RSVP as soon as possible after receiving your formal invitation, and no later than July 1, as we need to give the venue and vendors an accurate guest count.

What if my attendance status changes after I RSVP?

Answer

If something comes up and you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We will miss you, but early notice helps us update our vendors.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Pending enough rooms are booked, there will be a complimentary round-trip shuttle for guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City Airport and the Kansas City Airport Marriott. For guests not staying at these hotels, car services like Uber and Lyft can pick up at the venue for a safe ride home. Important Reminder: Please drive responsibly. You’re welcome to leave your car at the venue overnight and pick it up the next morning.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be parking available at White Iron Ridge. Please use the gravel lot when you arrive.
