Mallory Brand

Matron of Honor

Mallory is my older sister and the gal I have looked up to the most in my life. From paying me 25¢ to go get her computer upstairs when I was young to visiting her in New York to celebrating her own bachelorette together in 2019, we have been through many a moment together and I am so grateful to have someone like her as my big sis. Mallory lives in Atlanta with her husband Grant, new daughter Hazel, and her 2 animals. She is a freelance writer and editor + teaches yoga.

Mia McKnight

Maid of Honor

Mia and I met our junior year of high school, when we had the exact same class schedule for the 7 hours of the school day. In high school, we were both involved in musical theater, attended the same church, and were basically inseparable from 16 on. Myself and Mia have lived on opposite sides of the country for almost 8 years now but almost never miss a weekly phone call to chat life, politics, religion, or hometown gossip. Her friendship is invaluable to me and has been a grounding force of my 20s. Mia graduated from University of Georgia Law in 2024 and made the move to Philly to become an assistant district attorney.

Jordan Brand

Bridesmaid

Jordan is my sister-in-law, married to my brother Gavin. Jordan met me when I was 16, almost 10 years ago! Since their move to Seattle in 2020, it has been such a gift to have family so close, something so unexpectedly needed in a pandemic. Jordan is empathetic and kind, asks the best questions, and is an amazing mother. She is also avid runner, therapist, and on any given Sunday, you'll find us running after Peter or Rowan down a pew or exchanging dairy free recipe ideas.

Mackenzie Wesson

Bridesmaid

I met Mackenzie on the first day of college when my Aunt Adonna walk across the hall to introduce me to my neighbors. Since that moment, bonding over the band LANY, we have spent so many moments together - driving around in her old yellow Jeep, eating dinners in the PCC parking lot, or walking along the Edmonds waterfront. When we aren't together, Kenzie is an amazing kindergarten teacher north of Seattle and is married to her husband, Levi.

Johnny Swager

Best Man

Johnny and I became best friends throughout our freshman year of high school. His independence, confidence, and creative breadth have imprinted many important lessons on me since then. My favorite being his relationship with “trying new things”. Just because we hadn’t done something before, didn’t mean we couldn’t take it on. Johnny believed in himself and inspired others like me to believe in themselves too. We felt like we could do anything together! We built sea glass mosaics, wrote a crappy horror movie script, and explored Seattle together for the first time with Liz. We continue to push the limits and explore new lessons in life, business, creativity, and adventure.

Liz Yergen

Groomswoman

Liz and I's friendship is one of a kind. The same must be said about her. She is amazingly creative, with an eye for capturing people, places, and emotions in photos. We spent countless hours together in high school workshopping poems, taking photos, and planning our eventual book “Visions”. The process convinced me that creating new things is always better together. Some of my favorite memories span these creative sessions and our runaway adventures. I cherish all the times we explored Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, Seattle, and the little pockets of nothing out in eastern Washington. My world became so much larger as a result of our friendship. I gained perspective, new friends, a sense of place and home - all thanks to Liz.

Scott Lyons

Groomsman

Scott "The King" Lyons and I met at freshman orientation at UW and later became college roommates. One my favorite things about Scott is his casual readiness for adventure. He might have had a lab due the next day, but he was always ready for the spontaneous. We played a ton of tennis, sled down the stairs in the quad, and fished from kayaks in Neah Bay. Combined with his commitment and capacity for learning, Scott is a deadly combo of brains and heart. Fun Fact - He was my first friend to meet Emma! On our third date, they shared a sip of dorm room “wine” and canned bananas.

Cameron Miller

Groomsman

Cameron was my first best friend and lifelong brother. We’ve been close since the second grade, after being seated together by our last names - Mace and Miller. We grew up playing football and wrestling, talking about girls, listening to rap music, and playing video games. Underneath our shared interests, his strength of character, competitive nature, and contagious laughter have shaped who I am. Few people know me like Cameron does, and I’m so grateful for our memories and friendship. Whenever he or I visit the other side, we pick up right where we left off.
