The closest major airport is Portland International Airport (PDX), approximately 45–60 minutes from Cascade Locks depending on traffic. We recommend renting a car if possible, as rideshare availability in the Gorge can be limited late at night.
We recommend booking accommodations early since fall is a popular season in the Gorge. Nearby lodging options include: Best Western Plus Columbia River Inn Vacation rentals in Cascade Locks, Stevenson, and Hood River
Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. We strongly encourage planning ahead and arranging designated drivers. There are no rideshare options in Cascade Locks.
October in the Columbia Gorge is beautiful but unpredictable. Be prepared for: Cool temperatures, especially in the evening Possible wind near the river A chance of rain (doubtful, but it's Oregon!) We recommend bringing: A jacket or wrap Comfortable shoes (no stilletos) Layers for warmth after sunset
The ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the Columbia River, and the reception will be indoors w/outdoors optioins depending on the flow of the evening. We recommend not wearing stiletto heels due to the grass and waterfront areas.
Parts of the venue are accessible, though some outdoor areas may have uneven surfaces. We will have golf carts to help transport between parking, the cermony and reception locations.
What you want! Emma and Jason want you to feel your best. Since this is a waterfront Gorge wedding, we recommend avoiding stilettos if possible and bringing layers for cooler evening temperatures.
This is an event that is being planned with adults in mind. While we love your little ones, we look forward to an adults only event.
We invite guests to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please keep phones silenced and allow our photographers to capture the moment. Please feel free to take photos and share during the reception!
You know we love furry friends, only service animals are permitted at the venue.
Yes, parking is available onsite at the venue. Because this is a city owned park, there is a $10 parking fee per vehicle. We encourage carpooling to the venue where possible.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.
Yes! We look forward to a Happy Hour after the ceremony followed by dinner at the reception.
Cell service can be spotty in some areas of the Gorge. We recommend downloading directions in advance.
