Question

What time does it start?

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail (suitable for a garden setting) Ladies: Maxi dresses or summer smart cocktail dresses. Chunky heels or wedges are recommended since we’ll be outdoors. No white or ivory outfits please! Gentlemen: Light suits, or a chino/shirt with blazer combo. Ties are optional; shorts aren’t recommended.

Question

How do I get to Jersey from Dublin?

Answer

The easiest way is by direct flight from Dublin Airport to Jersey Airport. Flights typically take about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can fly to the UK mainland (e.g. London Heathrow or Gatwick) and take a connecting flight or ferry. Connecting flights seem to be the most budget friendly option!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, unfortunately we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

When should I book my flights?

Answer

We recommend booking your flights as early as possible, especially since Jersey is a popular summer destination and flights can fill up quickly. Ideally, aim to book at least 6 months in advance (so Google says!) for the best availability and prices. Direct flights from Dublin to Jersey are limited, so the earlier you book, the better your options will be!

Question

Do I need a passport for travelling to Jersey?

Answer

Yes, Irish citizens must carry a valid passport to enter Jersey

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We'd recommend checking Booking.com, AirBnb or hotel sites directly within the following areas. Again, Jersey is a small island so availability can be limited - we would advise booking sooner rather than later. 1. Trinity Distance: ~1–3 km Drive time: ~5 minutes Closest to the wedding venue. Quiet rural area with guesthouses, cottages, and small hotels. 2. St Martin Distance: ~4–6 km Drive time: ~10 minutes Nearby parish with scenic coastal spots and countryside rentals. 3. Gorey Distance: ~5–7 km Drive time: ~10 minutes Charming fishing village with coastal inns and views of Mont Orgueil Castle. 4. St Saviour Distance: ~6–8 km Drive time: ~12 minutes Central location with a mix of hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering apartments. 5. St Helier Distance: ~10–12 km Drive time: ~15–20 minutes The island’s capital with many hotels, restaurants, and nightlife options. 6. St Brelade / St Aubin Distance: ~15–20 km Drive time: ~20–25 minutes Popular coastal areas with beaches, hotels, and holiday apartments; more resort-style.

Question

How do I get around Jersey?

Answer

Jersey is small and easy to navigate. You can rent a car, use taxis, or hop on local buses. Many areas are also walkable or bike-friendly.

Question

What’s the weather like in Jersey?

Answer

Jersey in July is usually mild and sunny, (we hope it stays that way anyway!) However, it can be cool in the evenings so feel free to bring a light jacket or jumper for later on.

Question

What else can we do while we're there?

Answer

Aside from the wedding (obviously) Jersey is stunning! You can enjoy the gorgeous beaches, castles, scenic cliff walks, seafood dining, and historic sites like Elizabeth Castle or Mont Orgueil.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please include any dietary requirements when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone.
