Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:00 pm to allow time for parking and to find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 and entry will not be permitted once it has begun.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 1st, 2025 using the QR code on your formal invitation or the RSVP tab on this website. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are not able to attend.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

Although we love your kids, we are having an adults-only ceremony and reception. We’re encouraging everyone to find arrangements for your children and treat this as a date night! That being said, we respect your choice as parents to do what is best for your family and understand how difficult it can be to leave the little ones behind.

What does a “garden formal” dress code mean?

Answer

This is a formal dress code that encourages bright colors, floral patterns, interesting textures, and fun embellishments. We want everyone to dress to impress with pant suits or midi to floor length gowns for the ladies, and suits finished with a tie for the gentlemen. Suit coat and tie are required for gentlemen. We are expecting a typical California summer, and want to remind our out of town guests that although it is an evening event, it will still be quite warm outside.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a "plus one" they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please note that plus ones are for significant others only.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony - meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be silenced and put away. We want everyone to be fully present and allow for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will be happy to share with you all once we receive them!

Where can I park?

Answer

There is parking in a lot directly across from the venue on North Grand St. as well as street parking. We do however recommend taking an uber/lyft as there will be an open bar and we want everyone be able to have fun and still get home safely.

Is the event outside?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place in the courtyard of Grand Gimeno and guests will be moved inside to the ballroom for the reception. We are expecting a beautifully sunny mid-summer evening and sunscreen application before arrival is highly encouraged.
