We are keeping this guest list simple: the only children included will be first cousins of the groom. For everyone else, this will be an adults-only celebration. A big part of this choice is wanting time to see YOU! We love your kids, but think of this as a built in night-off to allow parents to relax and focus on celebrating with us.
We’re going for summertime formal—polished, celebratory, and comfortable enough for an August day. No need for black tie or anything heavy; it’s outdoors, and we want everyone to look great without overheating. For women: formal sundresses, cocktail dresses, or a nice blouse with tailored trousers. For men: suits or dress shirts with nice pants. Tasteful patterned shirts are welcome as long as they’re polished and in a dressy fabric. * Jeans and Shorts are NOT invited to this special day.
We’re keeping plus-ones for guests in established relationships—partners we’ve met or people who’ve been together for a while. This helps us keep the guest list manageable and ensures we’re celebrating with the people who are already part of our wider circle. If your invitation includes a plus-one, you’ll see their name on the envelope. If not, we’re excited to celebrate with you!
Yes! We’ve got you covered. A free shuttle will run between the hotel and the venue all night, making several rounds so you can come and go without worrying about driving or parking. If you’ll be driving, there’s plenty of parking. Just be sure to plan your designated driver in advance.
Yes! There is plenty of free parking. You can also park at the hotel and hop on the shuttle if you want.
No worries! Our caterer can accommodate pretty much anything. Whether you have allergies, gluten or dairy intolerances, or follow a vegetarian diet, we’ll make sure you have something you can enjoy. When you RSVP on this website, there will be a place to list any dietary needs. Just fill that out, and we’ll handle the rest so you can relax and enjoy dinner with everyone else.
Our plan is to have an outdoor ceremony, as August is a beautiful time of year. The patio is located just outside the Great Hall where the reception will take place, and it’s surrounded by tall trees that provide plenty of shade. If Mother Nature has other plans, everything can be moved indoors seamlessly.
