What started with our brothers playing high school baseball together eventually turned into something of our own. Even though we had spent plenty of time at the same ball fields, we were still basically strangers when we went on our first date. We decided on simple with dinner and a movie. Before our food came out, he paused to pray over our meal and our time together. It was such a simple and sincere moment, but it told me so much about who he was. Looking back, it’s funny to think that a quiet dinner between two people who barely knew each other was really the beginning of everything. Since then, we’ve been inseparable, and we feel so thankful for every step that brought us here.
