Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both will take place at the same location!

Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

Ceremony will be at 5:30. So please be there no later than 15 minutes beforehand.

Question

What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

Our plan is to have a short and sweet ceremony at 5:30, following that guests will be allowed to enter the reception area to snack, drink, mingle while the wedding party and family finishes up pictures. After the bride and groom join the party we will eat then start first dances and speeches. After that we will all enjoy a casual evening of music, mingling, catching up with family and friends. We want the night to feel like a reunion and bring our families together. The reception will officially end at 10 but guests are welcome to stick around and mingle and dance for as long as they would like.

Question

How do we get there and where do we park?

Answer

You will need to personally drive. Gate should be open to guests and we will have signage directing you where to park. Parking is free as well.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love it if guests could stay within a certain color palette. The color palette will be included on the wedding invitation so look for it on that. We would also love for our guests to feel their best and dress their best, so semi-formal dress code. Women think fall garden party cocktail dress and men are welcome to wear a cowboy tux or slacks/khakis and a nice shirt. Avoid dark colors like black, dark grey, and navy. Ladies keep in mind you will have to walk in grass. Need inspo.. copy and search the link-> https://pin.it/6iLFZ7OvH

Question

How do I RSVP for events?

Answer

Each guest will be sent an invitation through text from Paperless Post. You will be able to RSVP through that invitation. Do not text or call the bride or groom to RSVP, family included please. If you don't and you show up you better bring your own sandwich and chair ;)

Question

Where should I stay overnight?

Answer

The venue will have lodging for immediate family and wedding party. There isn't a hotel in the town but there are in the surrounding towns like Brownwood, Coleman, and Abilene. You will have to drive about 20 min to an hour though depending where you stay, so prepare for that.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one option on your invitation then you are more than welcome to bring one!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children or partner?

Answer

Yes, if we have put your children on your invitation you are more than welcome to bring them or leave them home. Completely up to you! We tried to account for spouses, long-term couples and children so if we missed someone let us know!

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

You can find our registry on our website. We just bought a house! So our main goal is making it a home. We have cash funds set up for that or to contribute to our honeymoon! There are also gift options, gift cards, and experiences you can contribute to as well. We don't expect anything but appreciate everything! Our registry is through Zola as well so our address is already set up for you guys!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We have hired a photographer for our wedding so there will be plenty taken by them. I specifically ask you not take any pictures or videos during the ceremony. During the reception take as many as you please.

Question

Can I post pictures from your wedding?

Answer

We do not have an issue with you posting pictures from the wedding.
