Ari is one of those people that Emma connected with in college instantly, and knew that a close friendship would grow. Their friendship grew long distance, and stood the test of many challenges. She quickly become one of Emma’s best friends and that bond only grew when Ari moved back to Nashville. Ari is a no nonsense, loyal, “stick up for you” kind of friend. Her honesty, love, and sass strongly supported Emma during her relationship with Hein. It’s not a lie to say they wouldn’t be here without her.

Amanda Chiu

Emma’s current roommate and girl crush for years, Amanda is an avid PS4 gamer, known killer of dance moves, and gives some of the best hugs known to man kind. Currently crushing her dreams with a local publishing company, she is an absolute BA and a dear, dear friend. She is proof that Post grad friends can exist and be quickly deeper than friendships that surpass in years!

Childhood, lifelong best friend. Growing up just a quarter mile from Emma, Anna was like another sister. Whether it was exploring the backyard creeks, going trail riding, traveling Europe, or staying up late to watch to Anne of Green Gables, Anna is a true kindred spirit. Because of her, Emma knew early on the type of love someone can have without being blood related. Until Emma met Hein, Anna was the only person she could every be around constantly and never grow tired of her company. She is fiercely loyal, passionate about life, and has that calming presence that everyone needs in their life.

Sister of the Bride

Saying Holly is simply “Emma’s older sister” is a vast understatement. Holly was the first person she loved outside of her parents, sticking to her like glue in their early years. Holly is a born learner and teacher (she even potty-trained Emma!). She loves well and encourages often. Absence makes the heart grow fonder in this case, and she and Emma’s friendship has grown as they have entered the craziness of adulting together. She currently lives in Waco, Tx and is pursuing her PHD in English literature.

The baby of the family, Greta still always knew how to make her presence known. Feisty and quick to laugh, she brings light into any room she enters. She is an avid horse back rider and is hoping to ride at Liberty University in the fall. She has grown into a spitting image of her mother, and God help the liberty boys.

Sarah Jane. What a kind soul. Sarah welcomed Emma into the Zaayman girlfriend clan with open arms. With a listening ear she provides the support and love that opens anyone’s heart. She is one of the most talented individuals you will ever meet and puts her whole heart into every project she takes on. Emma is so so excited to be sisters and go forward in life together as Zaayman women!
