Great question. Once we finalize details, the option to RSVP on this website will be available. Thanks for your patience! In the meantime, feel free to text us your RSVP at any time - the sooner the better. Please send us your acceptances or regrets no later than May 1, 2025.
More info to come!
We recommend folks park on our street or in the neighborhood, which is close to the park. It's a lovely walk. We encourage arriving by bike if able to! Unfortunately, we are unable to use the parking lot by the community center.
However you'd like!! Whatever makes you feel empowered/beautiful/sexy/strong/comfortable/connected to yourself. If the open-ended nature of this answer feels unsettling, then here are some things to consider: - Emma will probably be wearing a very casual dress and is unlikely to have heels on. - Evan will also be dressed in casual attire. - The more glitter, the better : ) - Since it's early June, late afternoon and evening may get chilly - bringing a jacket may be useful. It's so hard to say though, since over the last couple of years it's been unseasonably warm. - Bring a raincoat and/or umbrella in the event that it rains. We will have a rain option if it's coming down heavy. - If you are feeling like a swim in the lake, we encourage you to bring a suit and towel. The important piece is that you are there with us <3
Yes!! There will be food! We are so excited to be working with Roon's Savories (https://roonssavories.com/); Roon and staff make an assortment of savory dishes in a waffle cone. Seriously, they're out-of-this-world delicious! Roon's cones are made from rice flour and are therefore gluten free-friendly. There will be a mix of meat and veggie options. We will also have some other picnic/snack-like choices and a dessert of sorts (tbd). We are accounting for some dairy, sesame, peanut, and gluten allergies, but please let us know if you have any additional needs.
Technically, since we will be in a public park, alcohol is not allowed; however, we were told this wouldn't be enforced. That being said, let's just be smart/discrete about how we celebrate while at the park (meaning, what you personally bring to the park is your choice. We will only be providing some alcohol at our house for the after party).
Yes! When creating our guest list, your kiddos were accounted for! Just let us know if they won't be there for some reason. There is also a fun playground very close to the picnic shelter, which we hope you and your kids will feel free to use at any point.
You better.
Then are we even friends/related? KIDDING! If you aren't feeling the dancing vibes, no worries - we will also have a bonfire and s'mores, yard games, and hopefully stars to gaze at.
