Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. We recommend cocktail dresses or pantsuits for women, and suits or sport jackets with dress pants for men.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Seating opens at 3:30 PM, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4 PM. We recommend arriving no later than 3:30 PM to allow time to park and find your seats.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond the number of seats reserved on the wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes, there is free parking at the venue.
Question
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our professional photographer will capture all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterward. You're welcome to take as many photos as you'd like after the ceremony.

Is the reception in a different place than the ceremony?
Answer
No, the entire wedding will take place at Strathmere.
Question
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors.
Question
Will it be an open or cash bar?
Answer
It will be a cash bar. Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail and served two glasses of wine or craft beer with dinner (non-alcoholic options will be available if preferred).

When does the wedding end?
Answer
Evan and Emma's send-off will be at around 10 PM. Guests are welcome to enjoy the venue until 11 PM.

Can I book a room to stay overnight at Strathmere?
Answer
Limited rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively, there are plenty of hotels in the Ottawa area.
