Eric and I can add ourselves to the list of online dating success stories! After swiping right, chatting, and going on our first date to the Pittsburgh Arts Festival, it didn’t take long for us to become inseparable. We currently live in Pittsburgh with our two adorable pups Snoopy and Minnie. Eric is a student in the MD/PhD program at Pitt/CMU and is eagerly awaiting the publication of his paper, “Epidermal Resident Memory T Cell Fitness Requires Antigen Encounter in the Skin.” In June, he’ll begin his third year of med school and start the journey of finding a dermatology residency program. Emma earned her master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and UX and is now the lead Product Designer for Food Rescue Hero, a tech non-profit dedicated to reducing food waste, combating food insecurity, and fighting climate change. We’re both beyond honored and excited to celebrate our big day with the people we love most in this world. 💖
