Eli and Emma grew up just a few miles apart, always aware of one another through the Wyandot County Fair and FFA. Eli, from Upper Sandusky, was two years older; Emma was from Mohawk. Though their paths crossed often, it wasn’t until after Emma graduated in 2019 that timing and life finally brought them together. From the beginning, everything felt easy and natural. With Eli busy farming, many of their earliest memories were made side by side in a tractor, spending hours talking about life, dreams, and the kind of future they both quietly hoped for. Somewhere between those conversations and long days in the fields, they fell in love. Over the next few years, they built a life together buying their first home, finishing school, growing the farm, and figuring out adulthood side by side. In the summer of 2024, after a once-in-a-lifetime family trip to Alaska, Eli, who had been carrying an engagement ring the entire trip asked Emma to walk out to the barn with him once they returned home. On their way to the barn Eli stopped, got down on one knee, and asked her! Now, they’re beyond excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of you!
