John Burroughs' Slabsides
Just up the street from our house is the John Burroughs Nature Sanctuary. We love to walk the grounds. It's a family favorite. Our niece, Ada, calls it "fairyland". "If I were to name the three most precious resources in life, I should say books, friends, and nature; and the greatest of these, at least the most constant and always at hand, is nature."
