Little did Emma know when she woke up on Friday July 31st, 2020 that by the end of the day she'd be engaged to her best friend. They were up north at Dawson's cabin for what they call "cousin's weekend". Dawson's cousins Reese and her husband Hector, Austin and his girl friend Kim, and Dawson and Emma were all there. A few days before, Hector and Dawson were playing Xbox and Hector had asked if he could test out his new camera lens on Dawson and Emma, of course she said she didn't care, but she told him he'd have to convince Dawson. That evening, Dawson and Hector were starting to make dinner but the steaks weren't thawed yet. Hector asked Dawson and Emma to change into something nicer to take the pictures. They went down on the dock and Hector starting taking pictures. Emma, being completely oblivious, thought nothing of any of this. She even patted Dawson's pockets and asked if he was going to propose or something!?!? Hector told Emma to sit on the end of the dock because she was more photogenic than Dawson. Emma turned around and there was Dawson down on one knee. She was shocked, to say the least, and soon began bawling. Of course Emma said yes to her best friend and they can't wait to get married!
