This historic fishtown has an amazing set of shops on the water and all the whitefish products you could dream of. We recommend going to The Cove for a Chubby Mary (if you dare) overlooking the dam or checking out Van's Beach for great access to Lake Michigan.
Downtown Traverse City
Check out downtown for the best of the Cherry Capital! There are so many great stores. We recommend some cherry treats from Cherry Republic, cool gear from M22, and pies from Grand Traverse Pie Company!
Mission Point Lighthouse
This lighthouse is a bit of a trek but such a cool spot! On the way you can stop at a bunch of great wineries.
Walk or Ride the Tart Trail
There is an incredible trail that runs from Traverse City to Suttons Bay. It goes right by our reception venue! Rent a bike or take a walk on the beautiful trail. We recommend stopping at Lakeview Hill Market for fresh farm goods on the way!
