Rittenhouse Square
Our favorite Saturday spot to sit on a bench and people watch with Charlie. Surrounded by shopping on Walnut and Chestnut streets and great Philly restaurants for a bite to eat. As you're strolling, be sure to pop into The Ground for a coffee - they serve Saxbys!
Love Park
The iconic Philly Love statue is located just across the street from City Hall. JFK Plaza is a short walk from both the Logan and Windsor hotels.
Independence Hall
Take a journey back to 1776 and see where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed! Pro tip for the Liberty Bell - no need to wait in line to go inside, the best view is from a window on the south side of the building. Emma grew up just a short walk from these historical landmarks!
Rocky Steps
Feel like a pro running up the stairs of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Made famous by Rocky Balboa - one of the best views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and City Hall is once you reach the top! Be sure to put your arms up for a photo-op! Our first apartment was right in the neighborhood.
Reading Terminal Market
Work up an appetite on your walk from the hotel to Philly's oldest public market (since 1893!) With over 75 vendors, there's something for everyone - come hungry and ready to eat!
Jim's South St.
When Danny moved to Philadelphia, we went on a cheesesteak tasting tour and ranked them all. Jim's is by far our top favorite cheesesteak. Whiz wit is the only way to order a Philly cheesesteak.
