Carter and I actually went to and graduated high school together, but we never really talked until we met again through church. I had just swore off men when Carter decided to ask me on a date and I said yes without even thinking which if you know me is weird. We clicked immediately we haven’t went more than a few days at time on a rare occasion without seeing each other. We agreed pretty early on we would get married some day so six months in when he got down on one knee right where it all started, church, I of course said “oh my word NO what are you doing? Wait I don’t mean No as in no I mean YES but oh my gosh what are you doing?” Carter is definitely the romantic out of the two of us. He had such a sweet speech that he had to tell me in the car because I was screaming the whole time he was proposing. There’s no doubt in my mind every part of our relationship has been a God thing so we are excited to take this next step and form this covenant with each other and God with all of you watching!
