The bride and grooms story began in a modern and unexpected way when one of the bride's videos appeared on the groom's TikTok For You page. After he reached out on Snapchat, they spent several weeks getting to know one another. Although the groom asked the bride out more than once, it was not until he surprised her at work with flowers that she agreed to a first date. Their first date took place at BJ's Brewhouse, where they unknowingly shared the same meal. As the date went on, the bride playfully asked whether the groom planned to talk or if he was going to sit there and smile at her the entire time. This moment quickly turned into laughter and effortless conversation. What was meant to be a simple lunch became something more, leading to a last-minute invitation to the groom's family Christmas celebration. That night the bride met many members of the groom's family, decorated a Christmas tree together, and shared their first kiss. A few days later, on December 18, 2021, after taking homecoming pictures, the groom asked the bride to be his girlfriend while stopped at a traffic light on East Baltimore Street, turning onto South Edgewood Drive in Funkstown, Maryland, on their way to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. From that moment on, their relationship officially began. Over the years that followed, they remained committed to one another through long distance, often separated by six and a half hours, yet always finding their way back to each other. On August 4, 2024, at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the groom asked the bride to marry him. She joyfully accepted, and they now look forward to beginning this next chapter of their lives together.
