Meeting Caleb six years ago, I fully expected my infatuation to eventually pass as a silly crush. I made a point to be around him every chance I could, and despite my expectations, he did too! Our friendship grew through mission trips, late nights messaging each other on GroupMe, curating personal playlists, concert tickets, and frequent visits to "help my dad with yardwork" in the summer. After an excruciatingly long two and a half years we finally began dating. Everyone knew it was only a matter of time, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Somehow, even being so young, I always knew Caleb was the man I would marry. My first love, and true companion.
Emma and I met at Trinity Presbyterian church 6 years ago and it was not love at first sight. But, I believe it’s better that way. To be sure, I found Emma extremely alluring within a short period of time, however, once the initial excitement of dating wore off, that’s when our relationship could truly begin. We have spent countless nights arguing with, crying on and praying for and with each other. Nothing good comes without adversity and I believe through that we have something beautiful.
