Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

Rome offers a wider selection of international flights and may provide more convenient itineraries from the United States. Approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes by car. A great option if you'd like to spend time in Rome.

Travel Note

Rental Car

We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore Tuscany during your stay. The countryside is filled with beautiful towns, vineyards, and restaurants, and having your own transportation offers the most flexibility. Rental cars are available at the airports listed above. We suggest reserving one in advance and requesting an automatic transmission if needed. ** Check if your car rental company requires an International Driving Permit.

Private Transfers

If you'd rather not rent a car, we recommend arranging a private airport transfer in advance. Please keep in mind that you'll also need transportation between your accommodations and any activities outside the wedding venue. We encourage guests traveling together to coordinate rental cars or private transfers whenever possible.

Off-Site Villas Nearby

If any guests wish to book off-site villas independently, they need to contact booking@labigattiera.com directly. There are a number of ancillary residential villas that could accommodate a party of approximately 20 family members and guests for one or more nights. The main options are: The Hamlet: Villa il Mulino, Casa San Biagio & Le Scuderie di San Biagio, a three-villa complex accommodating up to 16 guests in total. It includes Villa il Mulino, with one double bedroom, private bathroom and equipped kitchen, together with seven double junior suites across Casa San Biagio and Le Scuderie, all with private bathrooms. Breakfast and a private swimming pool are available on site. Villa Brandini, accommodating up to 8 guests in four independent rooms with private bathrooms, plus a common living room and equipped kitchen. Casa Murli B&B, accommodating up to 9 guests in three double junior suites and one triple room, all with private bathrooms. Breakfast and a swimming pool are available on site. Depending on availability, we can therefore combine the villas to comfortably accommodate a group of around 20 guests. The villas are located approximately 10-15 minutes by car from Casa Cornacchi.
