Emma and Cailey met through a mutual friend at a haunted corn field. Funny enough, they barely spoke that night. In fact, Cailey was actually on a date with another girl. A few months later, Emma and that same friend were planning for senior prom. With Cailey and Emma still being single and having previously met, their mutual friend decided to match them up as prom dates.
After spending a few weeks getting to know each other better, prom night was finally here. Emma wore a light pink lace dress and Cailey wore a matching pink tie. They had coordinated colors to make for better photos. Prom night was a total blast as they showed up with all their friends in a party bus. Some way through the night, during a slow dance, Cailey went in for a kiss. From that night on, Cailey and Emma's love blossomed. Through college, the Marine Corps, a move to California then back to Arizona, to the purchase of their first home together, they are truly in love and ready to start their journey as husband and wife.
Cailey had to work pretty hard to keep the proposal a secret. After seven years together, it was hard to do something that Emma would not pick up on. There were a few ground rules, Cailey needed to get the blessing of Emma's parents, Emma wanted to have her nails painted, she wanted to have someone there to take photos, and she wanted it to be a total surprise. With all those moving pieces, Cailey enlisted the help of another couple, Tavia and Parker. Having previously asked Mr. and Mrs. Wood for their blessing on Thanksgiving, Cailey put his plan into action. Tavia took Emma out for a girls day to get manicures and Cailey took Parker to the build site of Emma and Cailey's new home to set up. Tavia and Emma met the boys at the house under construction. Parker had hid his camera and Cailey had a signal so he knew when to take it out. Cailey took Emma into their soon to be living room. He told her he wanted to continue to build a life together in their new home and then he got down on one knee.
