What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer Formal. Men are encouraged to wear dress pants, a button-down shirt, and a jacket. For women, cocktail dresses, summer formal dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are welcome.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the beach, followed by the reception at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Pavilion.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Because the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the sand, we recommend choosing footwear that is comfortable for walking on the beach. For women, flats, wedges, block heels, or platforms are great options.

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Because guests will be staying throughout the Charleston area and some may already be at the venue, transportation to and from the wedding will not be provided. We recommend using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, which are readily available throughout the area. There is also a water taxi from Waterfront Park and Charleston Maritime Center for those who wish to travel by boat. Please leave extra time if you’re considering this option (https://charlestonwatertaxi.com/schedule/map/). Transportation will be provided from the reception to the after-party for guests who wish to continue celebrating!

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Yes, parking will be available at the venue.
