The Collin Street Bakery is a must visit. Best known for it's World Famous Fruit Cake! The original location is in downtown Corsicana. They serve lunch in addition to a large selection of pastries, cookies and breads.

Pearce Collections Museum
Located on the main campus of Navarro College, the Pearce Museum is home to several impressive, permanent collections of the civil war history, western arts, and the Hunter-Gatherers of the Blackland Prairie together in an environment that encourages exploration, dialogue, and enjoyment. Hours are Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday Noon to 4 pm. Admission is $4 - $8

A wonderfully relaxing and welcoming patio with nice wines and friendly staff. Located in Ennis, TX - about a 40 minute drive North on I-45 with a lovely country drive.
Benda Ranch 1721 FM-2859, Mildred, TX, 75109
Benda Ranch is a private exotic animal ranch that you can park along the County Road and look at the animals - early morning is the best time to see them all down at the fences. 250 acres of Exotic animals, free for all to come and see. We have zebras, camels, ostriches, elk, oryx, Pierre David, and many more! Viewable by car from FM 2859 and surrounding roads or by boat from Richland Chambers.
