Our proposal story could actually start on June 19th when we headed to the airport to fly stand-by to London. Little did we know that the flights would all be completely full that day and the next! So we spend 2 days at the airport hoping that 2 seats would be open so that we could get on the flight with no luck. The third day of attempting was going to be our last but luckily we were able to get on the flight and take the 8 hour flight to London landing around 6:30am. Once we were able to make it to London we saw a couple things around town before heading to St. Paul’s Cathedral. That is where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Not realizing the time I tried to call everyone back home but no one was awake yet! We then hustled to the train station and got on a train to Paris where we ended the best day drinking champagne in front of the Effilé Tower and watching it sparkle as the sun set on the perfect day❤️
