Jitney Service

We will have a handful of jitneys touring each of the recommended hotels to provide transportation to and from the wedding venue. The jitney will leave your location approximately one hour before the ceremony time and will be available until the end of the reception to take you back home. Certain hotels have provided a wedding code. Please use it so we know where you are staying and have a jitney available for you.

The Mainland Hotel Holiday Inn

Room Block & Jitney Code: FSW. Top recommendation for a lovely well-priced stay minutes from the venue. Perhaps the nicest Holiday Inn you will find. It is located on the mainland (i.e., not on the island), about 5 miles from the wedding venue. Rates vary in the range of $349-$389 per night. There is no minimum stay.

Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel

A good low cost choice if you are interested in going to the beach during your visit. Room rates for beach front rooms start at $400-$450, bay side offerings (further from the beach) are in the range of $350-$400. There are efficiency bay side units that can accommodate up to 4 people at $350 per night. No minimum stay required. Located 1.4 miles from the wedding venue.

Houseboats at The Boatyard

These are a brand new offering on the island. Stay on an actual house boat, located at a dock in the protected back bay waters of LBI. These units accommodate up to 6 people, include a full kitchen, a common area and bikes for your stay. Priced at $500 per night and located a half mile from the wedding venue. The houseboats have a 2 night minimum stay.

Room Block & Jitney Code: FSW. This hotel is walking distance to the beach with rates from $439-$469 per night. No minimum stay required. The hotel is located 6.6 miles from the wedding venue.

Room Block & Jitney Code: FSW. This hotel is located right on the beach and is more of a luxury offering, with rates from $569-$1,000 per night. No minimum stay required. Wonderful beach front restaurant. The hotel is located 7.3 miles from the wedding venue.

Room Block & Jitney code: FSW. This hotel is a luxury offering, featuring itself as the finest on the island. Individual room rates range from $700-$1,000 per night with two-bedroom luxury suite offerings at $900 - $1,500 per night. The hotel features a roof top restaurant with fantastic water views, complimentary bikes, beach towels, valet service to the beach and is located 1.4 miles from the wedding venue.
