We’re getting married!

Emma and Alex first crossed paths during their sophomore year at Ringgold High School, where they both later graduated with the Class of 2019. Emma was the new girl, and Alex quickly developed a crush on her. What began as a close friendship soon became something special, as Alex had a unique way of making Emma laugh like no one else ever could. Eventually, he worked up the courage to ask her out on a date that included ice cream followed by pizza. While they stayed friends, it was a classic case of the right person at the wrong time, and God carried them in different directions. After high school, they lost touch for a while until their second year of college. In the summer of 2022, Alex reached out to Emma through social media, and what started as a simple message quickly turned into something more. They started texting every day, and Alex called Emma every night, often talking for hours. He still made her laugh just as effortlessly as before, and it didn’t take long for them to realize that this time, the timing was finally right. On October 14, 2022, Alex asked Emma to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a new chapter together. Since then, they have built a beautiful life in downtown Chattanooga. Emma thrives in her role as an Office Administrator at a family office, while Alex works as the Producer of Media Marketing for a pickleball company and proudly doubles as Emma’s personal paparazzi. Together, they have adopted their fur baby, Ella, navigated challenges, celebrated milestones, and shared countless meaningful moments. Along the way, they have traveled to many places, with San Clemente, California holding a special place in their hearts. Today, Emma and Alex are best friends in every sense of the word. They are big Georgia fans, huge Texans fans, and they love to work out, play pickleball, enjoy good food, and explore new places together. Above all, they share a deep love for their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Keeping Him at the center of their relationship and their lives has guided them every step of the way, and they are so excited to begin this next chapter hand in hand, surrounded by the people they love most.
