We have been friends since middle school, we have no memory of how we met or became friends, only that we have been best friends for as long as we can remember. He has loved me for as long as he’s known me (12+ years), but for me it took until high school for me to realize just how much I loved him. Neither of us would make a move or let on to the crushes we had on each other, but made a pact to get married if neither of us were married by 30. We lost touch during college for a few years but just recently reconnected and expressed our feelings for each other. We started dating in April of 2024 and just a short three months later we have decided to get married!
