Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will only be transportation to and from the reception. NOT the ceremony. Reception transportation will be out of the Garden City Hotel & Hilton Garden Inn Melville ONLY. Shuttles will arrive at TBDpm and leave right at TBDpm. Please Do not be late!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony there is a limited amount of parking in the parking lot of the church on 4th street and plenty of parking across the street on 5th street. Please be mindful of signs when parking to avoid parking tickets! For the reception, we kindly encourage our guests to take advantage of the provided transportation to ensure a smooth arrival experience, minimize traffic at the venue. Should you prefer to drive, valet parking will be graciously available at the castle entrance.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony by 2:45pm. The ceremony will start right at 3:00pm. The Reception Starts at 6:00pm at Oheka Castle

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

We are asking guests to not have phones out during our ceremony. We have very talented photographers and videographers and we will share photos. Please feel free to take photos once the ceremony has ended and during other times of our special day

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding reception venue is set up in an indoor/outdoor space weather depending. Main Reception is all indoors.

Will there be a gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

No. There will not be a gap in between the ceremony at St. Joseph's Church and the reception at Oheka Castle.

Is your venue Wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Oheka Castle is Wheelchair accessible. Please let the Valet know that are you in need of that entrance and they will guide you to where this entrance is located

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Our wedding day is Black Tie Optional. Ladies are encouraged to wear tea-length or floor-length gowns. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo, though it is not required; a dark suit is a perfectly acceptable alternative. Please note that our cocktail hour will include an outdoor component, so kindly keep this in mind when selecting your footwear!

Our Bridesmaids will be in Black. You are more than welcome to wear Black!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Please refer to our invitation and RSVP to see who is included. If there is no plus one included unfortunately we would not be able to accommodate an addition to your invitation

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Wedding Invitations will be sent out April of 2026. Please RSVP by May 30th, 2026. After this date, we’ll be confirming our final guest count with the venue so any unanswered invitations will be marked as unable to attend. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate together!
