Assateague Island
We had one of our first dates on Assateague Island, visit Dan's family camping here every summer, and got engaged here! Assateauge is a 40-45 minute drive away and traffic can be bad later in the morning, but if you want to catch an ocean-front sunrise or get a beach morning in before the wedding festivities that is where we would go.

About 30 minutes from Delmar is Berlin, MD. Named the "coolest small town in america" we love going to On What Grounds for coffee and shopping at all the shops. We even took engagement photos in Berlin in March!
