Matron of Honor
There literally would not be a wedding if it weren’t for Maddy, as Emma gives her the credit for setting her up with Wes. From chem lab partners, to sorority sisters, to pseudo roommates during Emma’s internship, Maddy and Emma are stuck like glue. Emma would be lost without her and maybe being Cupid was a ploy to get Emma to move to Sac? Oh well, Emma ain’t mad about it.
Best Man
From bad middle school haircuts, to a bad high school football team, Spence and Wes have been through it all. Mouse hunting in their apartment, terrible golfing, and a lot more have kept these two close through the years. The fact that their other halves are also best friends helps too.
Officiant
When it came time for Emma and Wes to choose an officiant for their wedding, they immediately thought that Josh was the perfect man for the job. They appreciate his creativity and wisdom, but even more so, they appreciate that he exudes kindness and welcomed them into his life with open arms, both as a couple and as individuals.
Bridesmaid
Emma is so excited to gain a sister! Momo is a vibrant person, who enjoyed dressing her little brother up in dresses in their younger years. Mo was Wes’s first bully, yet the thought of her running away in her teens was enough to make a young Wes cry. She officially made Wes “Uncle Wes”, a role he always felt destined to fulfill.
Groomsman
Emma loved growing up with a younger brother close in age. While lively competition was ever present between these two, they typically found fun ways to compromise, like dress up backyard baseball. In their college years, Jake kept Emma young and fun when he joined her at UC Davis. Wes and Jake share a love of baseball and a good, cold beer, what more could future brothers-in-law ask for?
Bridesmaid
From high school friends to thick-as-thieves college roommates, Arianna and Emma have so many ridiculous, laugh-filled memories. They once carried a box spring across downtown Davis because it wouldn’t fit in a van. Emma can always count on Arianna to tell her when she didn’t blend her blush and knows she will always have her back.
Groomsman
Ryan was born on Emma’s tenth birthday and they were deemed the “Pisces Twins” since. While one moment Emma and Ryan can be behaving like true siblings, the next Emma can be reminding him to eat vegetables like a second mom. About a decade and a half later, the Webbs welcomed in another “3-15er” in Wes and the birthday triplets like to play mini golf or go bowling together.
Bridesmaid
Traveling soccer brought Alli into Emma’s life and the list of what bonded them after could go on and on. A mutual love of playing obscure card games, watching terrible teen dramas, and awkwardly partaking in Disney character meet and greets built something so close that they may or may not text each other about *insert poop emoji*.
Groomsman
A part of the bad high school football club, Mike Dodge and Wes became brothers throughout Mira Loma shenanigans. Although a few thousand miles away, Wes and Mike continue to see each other as often as they can. Mike is notably responsible for one of Wes’s many concussions.
Bridesmaid
Emma is forever grateful for the day that MoKim stopped by her college dorm room on move in day to introduce herself. Their Davis memories that span all four years are some of the absolute best ever. It may be tough to keep in touch sometimes with a lot of time being spent apart geographically, but they always pick up right where they left off, which is usually laughing hysterically.
Groomsman
From Wes’s boss in the warehouse, to Wes’s top target in the Turkey Bowl, Kevin and Wes grew close over the last 8 years of working together. Despite Kevin being a salesman, the two of them bond over their similarities.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Kali became twins in their sorority and furthered bonded over their love of “Friday Night Lights”. Kali stepped up into a position in Pi Phi that made Emma feel so loved and supported to be a better version of herself. Besides being a true angel of a human, another one of Emma’s favorite things about Kali is that they can get down on a dance floor together. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.
Groomsman
From being co-workers in the warehouse, to heated discussions over the Sacramento Kings’ potential over drinks after work, Jordy and Wes have learned they have a lot in common. They both love their chihuahuas, their fantasy football, and, of course, their intense gym workouts. Light the beam!
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Emma’s friendship has maybe seen it all, in the best ways. From fresh high school graduates who road tripped to Canada and accidentally spent $100 on high tea to slightly wiser Covid quarantine roommates who built a blanket fort to watch Outer Banks as full-blown adults, Emma appreciates Sarah’s spunk and zest for life. She also may or may not be Ellie’s favorite auntie as she was there to rescue her too!
Groomsman
A part of the bad middle school haircuts and bad high school football club, Mike Muir’s and Wes’s friendship continues to grow despite 2,900 miles in between them. Mike is one of Wes’s smartest friends, yet the worst at hide and seek.
