We met in 2013 in the parking lot of the Bemis Building where we both lived. We would often see each other in passing, usually on the way to work and exchange "how-you-do's." It wasn't until a year and half later when we re-connected at our favorite bar, Altstadt, that we started to see each other as more than just neighbors. One night a couple weeks later, Sean invited Emma up to look at the stars...and the rest is history.

In early 2018, both of us were fairly busy with work and travel, so we kind of missed Valentine's Day. We promised to make it up to one another as a surprise "sometime soon." Emma's surprise came about one week later - she recruited their closest friends to help send Sean on a treasure hunt around some of their favorite places in Pioneer Square - ending on the rooftop of Bon Voyage Vintage, where Emma proposed to Sean. Half way through her proposal, Sean said "well let's get married then!" They celebrated all night, ending with a fireworks show on the water, and are so thankful for their friends who made that day so special.
