Russell, Emma, and her family went to Sammie's the Sunday after the proposal. Emma got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pita. Russell got the Monte Carlo Pita. Both are very note-worthy sandwich dishes. Whether you're a pita or a sandwich person, Sammie's will meet your needs.
Hops & Barley
Located in Union City, North West of Martin, Hops and Barley is a family friendly burger joint. They have a wide variety of selections, such as, pastas, crab legs, and a rib-eye. They are best known for their catfish plate and burgers with handmade buns.
La Cabaña Mexican Restaurant
The couple’s favorite...and everyone else’s. Top notch Mexican food that is a staple of Martin. Families that once lived in Martin but moved away still make trips back for the sole purpose of eating at La Cabaña. The couple recommends the chicken chimichangas above any other plate there.
Cine Theater
Emma’s first job and another staple of Martin! This is a movie theatre in downtown Martin that shows a variety of modern and old movies!
Buff City Soap
Emma introduced Russell to this cool, small chain soap shop. They have a great selection of men's and women's soap. Emma enjoys the Magnolia scent; get the bar soap and the shower oil. You won't regret it! Russell found his favorite beard balm and oil--Shave and a Haircut. It reminds him of when his grandfather would sing the tune. We definitely recommend you giving them your business!
