What are the COVID safety protocols?
Answer
Dane County has been seeing great statistics on COVID numbers - as of 7/26/21, 70% of the county has at least one dose of a vaccine. We are monitoring the Public Health Department of Madison and Dane County for updates, and will follow any mandates in place. These are a few of the things we intend to do to keep everyone safe: *Outdoor ceremony *Outdoor options during cocktail hour and reception (the Nature Center has a fantastic deck and outdoor fun!) *Reduced guest list

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes early. The ceremony space is a short walk from the parking lot. There will be parking spaces reserved for those with physical limitations closest to the ceremony and reception spaces.

May I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
No. We have a wonderful photographer to capture this special day, and we are so excited to have photos of our ceremony and guests to treasure (not of phone cases or reflecting screens), and share with you. After the ceremony, feel free to take any photos and videos you'd like!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, but not a strict one. Garden/Cocktail attire is perfectly acceptable. The ceremony will be held outside on grass, so we advise leaving the stilettos at home.

Yes, parking is ample and free at the nature center.

Can I leave my car at Aldo Leopold Nature Center?
Answer
Yes! And, if you have had enough fun, we ask that you do. Madison offers plenty of Uber/Lyft/Cab options to get you safely home, and back to your car the next day.

What about smoking?
Answer
No smoking/vaping/chewing/etc. is permitted on Aldo Leopold Nature Center's property. Please respect the nature preservation, and leave tobacco products at home.

How many guns/weapons should I come prepared with?
Answer
Zero. Absolutely no weapons are permitted on Aldo Leopold Nature Center's property, including firearms, knives, etc.
