Picture this: We're in Upstate New York during the fall of 2017. The birds are chirpin, the freshmen are stressin', the seniors are rejoicin', and the Syracuse Marching Band is rockin'. Emma and Rachel are at the Activities Fair on the quad recruiting new members for their respective teams. Emma catches Rachel's eye as she walks past the soccer team's table. Rachel enthusiastically hits Emma with the "hi." After chatting for a while, Emma, the Rugby team's Social Chair, asks Rachel for her number and coordinates a party between the two teams. Days after their first encounter, love is born in a romantic, grimy, sticky, college house basement. Emma and Rachel immediately dig each other and they know, right from the start, that this relationship is special and will be long lasting. Now, picture this: It's 2023, and you're reading our story. And some of you are thinking "college sweethearts, how original." Fair point. But the truth is, as cheesy as it may be- We complete one another. The question remains, however,... Was Rachel being flirtatious with her initial "hi," or was she simply trying to recruit a tall, fit gal to join the team? There are two sides to every story. Every story has two sides ;)
