Tuesday Mar, 04 at 4:01 PM Hi Everyone- Just wanted to send out an update. Non-stop flights are looking pretty decent right now (around $700 round trip) through TAP Airlines. I look through "Google Flights". We will be hosting a Welcome Party the night before the wedding (Friday 10/3) at Noah Surf House. This will include dinner and some drinks on us! We also have a shuttle service for the day/night of the wedding. This will pick up and drop off at Noah Surf House so we recommend staying as close to there as possible. WE HAVE EXTENDED OUT RSVP DATE TO SEPTEMBER 1st! Last date to RSVP is July 1st. Please respond in a timely fashion as we are planning our wedding internationally as guest count is crucial for planing. If you are unable to attend please let us know by RSVP as "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. where do I stay?

Please reference the "Travel" tab as we have worked with the Villa owners to find accommodations within 20 minutes of the venue. We recommend staying in the town of Santa Cruz - specifically as close to "Noah Surf House" as possible. This is located 50 minutes from Lisbon Airport. A shuttle for guests will be available to take to and from wedding venue from Noah Surf House. Noah Surf House is our top choice and we will be in touch about possible room blocks. We are also working on finding the best local "holiday inn" type hotel as well.

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up. We are requesting that our guests attend in formal attire. We would like to see the ladies in a floor length dress. Gentleman, no uncollared shirts or jeans. And of course, please avoid white and similar shades. The Villa is located on 66 acres if stunning land that we will be taking advantage of. This includes grassy/gravel areas. Ladies, please take this into accommodation when choosing your heels!

If you received a plus one they will appear on your invite as well when you RSVP as we are trying to keep this an intimate event. We understand this is a large ask to travel with us internationally. We are trying our best to accommodate the ones we love so if you are unsure or have any questions please reach out. Thank you for understanding.

Answer

We understand traveling internationally is a large commitment and many of our friends and family have young children. Please decide your attendance based on what works best for your family. Please confirm with us ahead of time so we can arrange accordingly.

Don't forget to contact your bank to inform you are traveling. We suggest you download the app "WhatsApp" as this provides free and easy communication while abroad. We recommend in purchasing an adapter for electronics, etc (though not necessarily for just anything). what's the weather like in October?

We expect temperatures to be in the mid 70s (hopefully warmer and coldest would be 60F). Definitely bring a bathing suit, but also a few sweaters or light layers.

We have hired a shuttle service to transport guests to and from the wedding venue on the day of the wedding. This shuttle will pick up and drop off guests at Noah Surf House in Santa Cruz.
