Watch Hill
This is a beautiful neighborhood with a lighthouse, a beach, a marina, some shops, and of course restaurants
Mystic Aquarium
Something fun to do with the kids! They have beluga whales and dolphins, lots of fish, and sea lions.
Downtown Newport
Shopping, food, and site seeing. We recommend doing the cliff walk if you’re up for some movement!
The Breakers
Historic Vanderbilt Mansions, they have self guided tours and do require a price of admission at each one
East Beach
Our favorite beach for beach days! The parking lot is small so the beach doesn’t get very crowded and is backed by a wildlife refuge so it’s very beautiful and you can see some cool birds. On the other side of the lot is a salt pond where little ones can swim with no waves
Scarborough State Beach
This is one of our most built up beaches with a couple large pavilions, counter service food options, and bathrooms.
