Maid of Honor
Dana and Emma met in high school while both working at the Buckle in NorthPark Mall. Emma desperately needed someone to cover her shift for her 18th birthday so she could go to Iowa City and Dana was the only one willing to work for her. Not only did she cover her shift but she drove from Davenport to Iowa City after closing to still make Emma's 18th birthday. The rest is history and Dana has always gone great lengths to support and cheer Emma on ever since- from traveling 8 hours to the lake to hang out with Emma and Dillon even if it was just for a short weekend, traveling 14 hours to Colorado on countless occasions, visiting Emma in Lubbock, and celebrating all of her milestones and getting her through all the hardships. Now she'll stand beside Emma on the best day of her life!
Matron of Honor
Emma and Kayla met in 2007 when Kayla and Emma's eldest brother, Joe, first started dating. The first family event Joe brought Kayla to was the Rascal Flatts concert in February of 2008. Everyone fell in love with Kayla right away- she quickly became part of the family and traveled with the Evanovich clan to Shell Knob on several occasions. Lots of late lake nights dancing on the deck and singing to their Table Rockin' playlist and perfect lake days laughing and playing Scattergories on the boat. Kayla has been there for Emma for the last 11 years- from the hardest time in Emma's life, to her high school graduation, move to Texas, engagement, and now her wedding day. The Evanovich family wouldn't be the same without Kayla and Emma is so proud to call Kayla her sister.

Emma will say her and Lauren have been best friends since 3rd grade. Lauren will say they've been best friends since 4th grade. Either way, they've been best friends a long time. Through elementary, junior high, & high school.. Lauren was there for Emma when she had to get braces for the second time (and not letting her forget it) and chipped half her front tooth on a bagel in the cafeteria.. and finally, through college together at the University of Iowa. Then they both started grad school- Lauren at Iowa and Emma in Texas. Saying goodbye to Lauren was the hardest part- they had been by each other's side through every transition in their lives thus far. No amount of miles or time apart would affect their friendship. Emma truly would not be able to say I do without Lauren by her side.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Paige have been friends since elementary school at Pleasant View. They remained best friends through the ups and downs of middle school, high school, and college- from daily trips to Cookies by Design in high school to drinking Hawkeye together in college. Paige has always been Emma's country-concert-going buddy, chaperone on spring break trips to Mexico, and has never missed one of Emma's Dad's Memorial Poker Runs. They don't make em' like Paige anymore- she's the best around and the friend everyone wishes they had. The memories they share are countless and Emma is lucky to have a lifelong best friend like Paige that's been with her through all the years. Emma was honored to stand next to Paige on her wedding day and couldn't imagine not having Paige by her side on hers!
Bridesmaid
Emma and Katie first met in 2017 through Dillon. Dillon and Katie have been friends since 2014 and even though Emma came along a few years later, Katie has always welcomed Emma with open arms. They instantly became close friends and it felt as though they had known each other forever! Emma feels incredibly lucky to be able to call the amazing people in Dillon's life her friends as well. From countless days out on the lake to nights in OKC and Sooner football games, Katie has always been down to host Emma and Dillon in her city or make the 4.5 hour drive to Shell Knob. Katie is the sweetest, kindest person and is always reaching out to Emma and helping her count down the days until she's home for good. Now the wedding day countdown is on and Emma can't wait to have Katie by her side!
Bridesmaid
Emma and Marina have been friends since high school and graduated in the same class. Emma and Marina have always been close and were a special part of each other's families. Marina always attending Emma's Dad's Memorial Poker Runs and coming over for family dinners and get togethers. Emma supported Marina through her first pregnancy, greeted Charlotte at the hospital when she was born, and attended Charlotte's baptism. This was all before Marina and Zach, Emma's brother, started dating. Just last year, Zach and Marina tied the knot in an intimate ceremony and reception in their hometown. Dillon and Emma drove in for the big day and are now excited to be having Zach and Marina driving in for theirs! Family is everything and Emma is lucky to have the best friends as sister-in-laws.
Best Man
Dillon and Zach first met in 2003 during a water balloon fight at Dillon's parents house. Zach was wearing his Jerry Rice jersey that he always wore. They grew up terrorizing the neighborhood from putting dead snakes in mailboxes to driving Zach's poor parents crazy. They remained close through elementary, junior high, high school, college to now- even with Zach in California living his dream and Dillon in Missouri living his. They've always remained in contact and supported each other through the good times and bad. Zach's been there for Dillon through every stage of his life and seen him at his worst and his best- he can't imagine having anyone else as his best man on his best day.
Groomsman
Dillon and Joel grew up in Shell Knob together- mostly playing basketball. Joel got all the points, Dillon got all the fouls. They were a perfect team. Joel has always been there to help Dillon out with the boat and he's always been his favorite workout buddy (and accountability partner). Joel's always down to head out on the lake for a surf session, come over for a beer, watch football together, or have a romantic date night at Steak Inn when they're both tired of eating alone. Joel has been Dillon's go-to-guy living the small town Shell Knob life. Dillon wouldn't have it any other way and couldn't imagine not having Joel by his side on the most important day of his life.
Groomsman
Dillon and Willie have been best buds since 2014. They connected through mutual friends and the rest is history. Dillon will say he and Willie's relationship works best when they have a couple of beers since neither of them are very talkative (he'd go so far as to say they don't talk) but after a few drinks you can't shut them up. All joking aside, Dillon and Willie have been close friends through the years and Willie is definitely a forever friend. He would do anything for anyone and Dillon is lucky to have him in his life. Dillon is so excited for them to get married this summer (sadly, not to each other)-- each to the loves of their lives. Dillon can't wait to celebrate Willie and Katie and is so excited to follow in their footsteps and marry Emma just a short four weeks later.
Groomsman
Dillon and Coltan met in 2014 and have remained close over the years; Coltan always calling to give Dillon shit and check in on how he's doing, how his family, the business, and life in general. Dillon loves to hear about Coltan's new business plans and is always trying to get him to come work for him to which Coltan's response is typically "never again" (Coltan will go on to say he'll never make a living hanging drywall or building retaining walls). Dillon loves his phone calls and typically spends the entire conversation near tears from laughter. Coltan is definitely the person who makes Dillon laugh the most (besides Emma). They always give each other shit about not visiting each other nearly enough but Coltan always makes the trip when the time counts- like Dillon's wedding day!
Groomsman
Dillon and Joey first met in 2013 on the deck of Emma's family lake home. Dillon was introduced to the killer Evanovich music playlist and, more importantly, Joey's killer dance moves. The lake house deck was the place to go for the best food, company, conversations, laughs, and dancing. Dillon felt right at home and at ease- Joey has a way of making everyone who walks into his house feel that way. Dillon would've never guessed that five years later he'd be driving to Iowa to ask Joey for his blessing for Emma's hand in marriage. Dillon also went to the cemetery where Emma's father was laid to rest and asked for his blessing. Joey showed up moments later and it turned into a special moment Dillon will always remember. Dillon can't wait to officially have Joey as his brother-in-law.
Groomsman
Dillon and Zach first met in 2013 and stayed in touch through social media until Dillon and Emma reconnected again four years later. Social media has continued to be a large part of their communication as they are constantly sending each other videos and memes on facebook and instagram. But in all seriousness, Zach was one of the first people to tell Emma that Dillon was the one for her. Zach was so happy Emma and Dillon had found each other again and knew that their dad had a hand in reconnecting them. Zach was not at all surprised when Dillon asked for his blessing for Emma's hand in marriage. He gladly granted Dillon his permission (and gratitude for taking Emma off their hands). It meant the world to Dillon to get Zach's blessing and he can't wait to have him as his brother-in-law.
Usher
Dillon and Spencer have been lifelong friends since wrestling on the playground in fifth grade. They grew up playing sports and riding four wheelers- doing all the things boys do (including sneaking ice cream from his parents resort freezer). They've remained close friends through the years and were college roommates. Spencer got Dillon into lifting weights- killing him in P90X workouts. He is always willing to help Dillon with diet and exercise plans- Dillon wanted to lose 15 pounds and now only has 30 to go. Dillon was a part of Spencer and Abby's special day and now he can't wait for Spencer to be a part of his!
Usher
Steven and Dillon have been friends the longest out of anyone- dating back to even before Dillon moved to Shell Knob. They grew up raising hell with their four wheelers and dirt bikes racing up and down Needles Eye. Steven never let the age gap get in between their friendship and Dillon always appreciated that. Steven is always willing to help you out whenever you need it and can help you in any situation- from mechanics to putting out the fires Dillon and Zach started. Steven will always be a lifelong friend of Dillon's and he can't wait to have him be a part of his wedding day.
