The proposal was a complete surprise! Organized by Dean, Emma's sister Maggie, and both of their parents, it couldn't have gone off any smoother. Under the guise of driving to St. Augustine to meet Dean's bother and sister-in-law for dinner, Dean took Emma in the complete wrong direction. Easily distracted, Emma had no clue. Dean whipped into the park, saying he had forgotten something and abruptly got out of the car. He came around and got Emma out of the car, confused she followed. After an epiphany on the walk to "THE spot", Emma passed her watch off to Dean. The whole thing quickly turned into the easiest "YES" of Emma's life!
