Nicholas Droste
Best Man
Aurion and Nick have known each other since tee ball— all the way back in first grade! —and have been great friends ever since. They have played in many orchestra groups together, with Nick playing cello and Aurion playing viola. Nick is known as the third son of Aurion's family, and always finds his way back "home" when he's in town. Nick graduated from Lewis & Clark with a degree in Fire Science, and now lives happily with his wife Maddi, their two cats, and their dog.
Alexus Bishop
Maid of Honor
Alexus is one of Emma's closest friends and most trusted cat-sitter. The two met in pharmacy school at KU and have been close ever since! She has been there for every fun, funny, and stressful time in the last four years. They share a love of pharmacology, margaritas, and their adorable cats! Alexus resides in Lawrence, Kansas and graduated with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in May 2019.
Michael Schwaderer
Groomsman
Aurion met Michael during band camp before freshman year of college at Iowa State. They hit it off quickly, becoming close friends, and were roommates for the next three years. Together, the two have enjoyed marching band, fencing, playing disc golf, and whatever other random things they have found to do over the years. Michael graduated from ISU in 2017 with a degree in Culinary Science.
Sho Asa
Bridesman
Sho is one of Emma's oldest and closest friends— the two met way back in middle school and have come a long way since. He is a true free spirit and a world traveler. Sho can often be found (or not...) overseas and many time zones away on some new adventure. They keep in touch when cellular service is available, although Sho can be prone to disappearances from time to time... His next adventure is yet to be determined!
Zayne Berry
Groomsman
Aurion has known Zayne since he was born... because they are brothers. They spent their childhood reading books, playing video games, and playing outside. Always competitive, it could end in hurt feelings from a lost game, or hurt fingers from a lost “lightsaber” (stick) battle in the backyard. They were nerds before it was cool, and they still are. Zayne graduated from Missouri State with a degree in biology in May 2019.
Lucas Fletcher
Organist
Lucas is the older brother of Emma and an accomplished organist. (A little known fact, Talented Organist is actually a dominant gene in the Fletcher bloodline!) He has had the honor of studying with many talented organ professors and playing famous organs all across Europe. Lucas is currently working on completing his Doctoral degree at the Jacob's School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana.
