Little did Emma know that when she asked Mary to be her partner at soccer practice back when they were 10, they would still be friends to this day. Through many years of sleep overs, tape webs, sleeping bag sledding, watching, and of course quoting old movies, countless BFF necklaces, many dinners at Damon’s, Emma picking fights with strangers, dance parties, boyfriends, break ups, and frequent phone calls which usually start with, ‘can I vent to you for a second,’ their friendship grew. And that friendship grew even when Mary and Emma were no longer soccer partners, when they made new and different friends, when each of them attended different colleges and even eventually when Emma moved to Philly. So, for the last 25 years no matter the situation, distance or where they were in their lives Emma has always known that Mary would truly be her best friend forever...and nothing would get in the way of that.
