Millcreek Canyon Hiking
3800 Mill Creek Canyon Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84124
This canyon (the same canyon where our wedding will be held) has lots of great hikes. Some of our favorites are: Dog Lake via Big Water Trail (Moderate-5.2 miles) Gobblers Knob Via Alexander Basin Trail (Hard-4.4 miles) Thayne Canyon Trail (Hard-7.1 miles) There is a small entrance fee ($5 or $6 I think) that you pay on your way out of the canyon.
Living Room Trail
Living Room Trail, Salt Lake City, UT 84108
This is an easily accesible trail with a great lookout over the city. It's rated as a moderate hike and it is 2.8 miles. This is almost 100% exposed, so it will be hot!
