Travel Note
We recommend that if you are able, get into Frederick in the morning or afternoon to avoid any traffic. Rush hour (starting about 2/3PM) on a weekday will guarantee a little extra traffic for your commute which means it may just take you a little longer to get where you're going. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the area: Driving up 270 from DC or anywhere South of that: plan for heavy traffic starting around 2PM (or sooner). Driving down 270 (South): you can probably expect a little traffic when you're right on the outskirts of Frederick, starting around 2PM. If you are flying and your flight lands any time after 1:30PM, you will also likely hit a little traffic.
Flight
There are three airports that are all about an hour away from Frederick: Dulles International and Reagan in DC and BWI in Baltimore. There's unfortunately no public transportation to Frederick, so we recommend the drive app of your choice (around $70) or renting a car.

There are numerous Airbnb's available in Downtown Frederick and in the surrounding parts of the city. If you get an Airbnb in Downtown, you may be close enough to walk to the wedding!
